Polyurethane screens

Polyurethane screens have been introduced in industry for two main reasons. The first is their abrasion resistance that gives more life – span, the second is that polyurethane is particularly suitable to treat the material easy to clog the holes.
The use of screens allows costs reduction in comparison with steel grids, though much cheaper, for their longer life – spane. Besides the usual requirements of screaning surface, marks itself out for the following characteristics:
- long wear resistance
- no corrosion
- heat resistance up to 75 °C
- good open area
- possibility to screen clogging materials
- availability of different qualities and hardnesses of polyurethane
- high flexion resistance
